EasyPC E700 with Gentoo

Well, it's some time ago I wrote about this project. I now have a working Linux, although it's a bit slow.

I have learned a lot about cross compiling, but until now I did most compiling on the machine itself. Using distcc my main PC helped it with compiling to speed up things.
However compiling and installing a big package still takes a few days.
So next I want to build an entire environment on my main PC. I want to use uclibc to make the OS much lighter.
Cross-compiling turns out to be quite tricky because of not found dependencies and messing up the host system.

Although it's slow it has a very up-to-date internetbrowser (using webkit) and a complete messenger (Pidgin). The kernel is 'bleeding edge' new.
